About Gary

I have spent nearly 50 years crafting high-quality photo products. My journey began in 1977 by opening a portrait and wedding studio in Douglas, Georgia. In 1988 I had the opportunity to work with one of the top photo labs in the country, Burrell Colour Lab in Crown Point, Indiana learning production and quality control. In 1991 I moved with my family to Columbus, Ga. to manage production at Garrett and Lane Color Lab. In 2010, I created YourBestColor.com, an editing service for professional photographers, which was acquired in 2012 by an international editing company. In 2025, I launched "Gary Poole Masterpiece Photo Services", offering professional-grade prints and albums to anyone with digital images.

The idea for this website and service came to me several years ago as I saw more clients choosing to receive digital files and more photographers shifting to offering full gallery downloads. This change created a need for high-quality fulfillment, but many services focus on very basic press products often accompanied by deep discounts. I wanted something better: premium products from trusted companies that I know personally for their quality and service.
